Domain Architect with in-depth knowledge of the purchase2pay (P2P) end2end process (architecture as well as business process know how). The P2P domain architect operates within the P2P process cluster in a large transformation program while closely collaborating with the enterprise architecture team.
The architect is taking primary responsibility for the development of the future end2end P2P technology landscapes, target architectures and roadmaps which feed into the transformation program as well as into the overall IT Strategy.
The P2P domain architect will provide a holistic view and take ownership of the purchase2pay architecture and supporting technologies, building consensus and agreements for the future direction. This requires working with senior leaders and delivery teams including solution architects, and other domain architects to ensure cohesive roadmap alignment and well considered purchasing decisions.
What part will you play?
- You will be the lead in developing the strategic P2P architecture and defining system evolution plans
- Moreover, you will work in tandem with the transformation program to gather and understand the key (business) strategies that are both in place and emerging, to ensure the target architecture and technical roadmap are effectively aligned to the future needs
- Your responsibilities will also include producing high-quality documentation to enable decisions or drive delivery. Also ensuring all decision points, building blocks, design principles, design rationale, roadmaps and all interdependencies are understood, documented, and communicated across stakeholders, where appropriate
- Act as a trusted advisor within the team and beyond to provide specialist knowledge (also outside in perspective) and technology expertise
- You will also provide consultancy services to the transformation program by offering strategic guidance and ensuring architecture principles are adhered to
