What will you do?

• Develop software
• Reviews relevant requirements, standards and other documentation to clarify and understand software engineering requirements.
• Estimates own work and provides such estimates to Team Leader or Project Manager
• As part of development performs unit testing to ensure delivery quality
• Presents technical findings and developments.
• Adheres to the software development process through the execution of module, subsystem and system test procedures.
• Participates actively in both hardware and software component selection
• Develop test software validation strategy and plan
• Test strategy and test software design based on test specifications
• Provide technical support to the production floor and contract manufacturer
• Work in a cross functional team environment

What will you need to succeed?

• Bachelor Software Engineering/Computer Science
• Minimum 4 years related work experience
• C/C++ programming for embedded systems and hands-on development skills using Linux or similar OS
• Experience developing software for Embedded Operating Systems (VxWorks, uC/OS, pSOS, Linux etc.)
• Understanding of OS thread scheduling (RTOS and Linux) and IPC
• Linux shell script programming experience
• Experience with Ethernet technology (MAC and Physical layers), Ethernet switching and IP routing
• Experience developing software for Layer 2/3 switch-fabrics (Switch ASIC, PHY, MDIO interface), wireless chipsets or other SoCs
• Experience Debugging and optimization of control-path and data-path execution flows
• Experience working with electronic production test equipment and process control
• Experience in electronics manufacturing test application design or related industry
