What will you do?

Our business is growing, and we have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our Digital Industries (DI) team! As the Business Administrator, you will be responsible for period closing and reporting, support in Budget and Forecast process, business administration and data management. This role provides support to the Finance Operations Manager with tasks related to Customer Services (CS) Business Unit (BU). This includes support during RIC assessments and external / internal audits.

  • Perform the various period-end closing exercises, Expense reporting, Journal Entries, internal financial report by Cost Center, General Ledger report, and ad hoc-analysis as assigned
  • Support the upload and finalization of forecast and budget for CS in forecast tools
  • Adherence to agreed Service level agreements and rules of engagement with Service Coordination, Project coordination and training team
  • Frontline invoicing and billing to customers in SAP and timely upload of invoice to customer portal
  • Timely processing of daily transactions related to Training Business for order booking, invoicing, billing to customer, Purchase order to other Siemens entities
  • Close coordination on service orders with service coordinators / project coordinators on a day-to-day basis for milestone billing, timely invoicing, cost transfer and revenue recognition in SAP
  • Facilitating smooth order booking with creation of customer master record in SAP
  • Collaborating with credit control team, service coordination team to resolve billing / invoicing disputes and enable cash collection
  • Preparing timely and accurate files for monthly WIP review, led by Finance Operations Manager
  • Monthly SAP closure of orders after the work is completed (TECO in SAP)
  • Creation of various 3rd party, other Siemens entities PO to support various BU and request timely GR/IR on those PO

What will you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2+ years experience in Finance or Operations or Admin
  • Knowledge of SAP and General ledger and proficient in handling data
  • Ability to learn new tools and data management
  • Communication skills and team oriented
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
  • Bilingual (French and English) preferred
  • High level of self-motivation, pro-activeness, and independent way of working
