Using your expertise, you will be responsible for:
- In your new role, you will enable the vision of a data-driven company through a scalable ecosystem
- To do this, you will be responsible for building and leading a strong team of DevOps- and cloud- engineers, solution architects and service professionals that can assume end-to-end responsibility for their projects or set of services
- You will support the team on identifying priorities, project issues, individual mentor, and personal development
- This will include encouraging an agile demeanor and an agile way of working (e.g., agile working methods)
- You will build a positive relationship with the customers to become a trusted advisor for their most critical data workloads that support their digital transformation
- Take ownership of key projects and lead these projects together with key collaborators from the business

- You have a university degree in mathematics, computer science, business administration or a similar quantitative field or equivalent practical experience
- You also have several years of experience in leading international teams
- Additionally, you have proven experience in people management (project or team lead experience), technical leadership roles in sophisticated IT ecosystems and projects involving multi-functional teams
- You have a validated understanding of business requirements in a data-driven ecosystem, coupled with concrete success stories/experience
- Alongside this experience, you also have proven track record of experience in DevOps, Data and AIOps, with data-driven architecture concepts (e.g., DataLakes, DataMesh) with a focus on AI/ML infrastructure and with database technologies (e.g., SnowFlake, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
- You have extensive knowledge with data visualization and with ETL/ ELT tools (e.g., Talend, SAP SLT)
- Experience and understanding of container technologies (e.g., OpenShift) and of event-driven architectures (e.g., microservices, data streaming)
- Familiar with a cloud environment (AWS/Azure/GCP) and deployment of AI/ML infrastructure
- You excel at understanding technical concepts and translating them into business terms
- Personally, you impress with superb communication and mediation skills as well as a customer-centric mindset
- You are experienced with agile methods (e.g., SCRUM)
- Business proficient English language skills (written and spoken) round off your profile
