General Motion control – Drives & Motors covers product range from AC Drives, AC Servomotors, Servo drives, Extra low voltage DC Drives, Controllers for door opening, closing systems . These products are focused to address the demanding process and application needs across Industry verticals.

Energy efficiency  become even more critical considering the target we have towards reducing carbon footprint in Industries & Building segment.

Using the latest innovations in the technology & portfolio – new markets and applications must be developed which would help in diversifying business. Growth through strategic alliances within Siemens and with external partners would help in overall growth. Job role & responsibilities:
  • Business promotion of General motion control products and solutions i.e. AC Drives, AC Servo motors, Servo drives, Decentralized drives, Extra low voltage drives  on pan India basis.
  • Knowledge of Low voltage motors, Low voltage drives applications in Discrete and Process Industry is essential.
  • Should have good knowledge on the AC Drives & Servo drives, motors market, competition products.
  • Knowledge of Drive train solutions  in various verticals like Automotive, F&B, Pharma, Water, HVAC, Intralogistics, Metals, Cement, Special purpose machines etc.
  • Interact closely with sales regions & sales specialists across regions to improve the focus on portfolio and develop new customers in targeted vertical markets
  • Promote Sinamics range of drives products, Simotics range of Servo motors with customers/partners.
  • Partner with regional sales, channel partners and product management teams for product launches, pushing new products and applications.
  • Prepare and execute an annual business plan with growth measures
  • Strategies and implement sales actions measure to increase market share
  • Develop and Implement various training programmes to enhance knowledge of Sales regions colleagues, System Integrators, Distributors

How do I Qualify for this job?

  • B.E. Electronics/ Electrical  with minimum 10 to 12 years’ experience in sales or business development for AC Drives, Servo Drives / Automation products.
  • Experience of Industrial networking will be an added advantage.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • A self starter and able to drive tasks.
  • Willingness to travel
