ATC Senior Design Engineer

What are my job responsibilities?
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented ATC Senior Design Engineer to support the design, development, and deployment of CBTC GoA 4 signalling solutions for urban rail systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in ATC system design, with specific experience in rolling stock interfacing, system simulation, and performance-critical subsystems. You will play a key role throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring optimal integration and performance of automatic train operation.
- Technical expertise in ATC and CBTC systems.
- ATC Trackside design and scheme plan generation.
- ATC on-board interfaces for trains and locomotives.
- Headway simulation activities
- Incidence analysis and T&C support
- Customer lead interface
- Headquarters interface (Germany and Spain)
What do I need to qualify for this role?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Railway Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in signalling or train control systems, CBTC or advanced ATC environments.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience with:
- CBTC scheme plan design
- Rolling stock interfaces
- Multi-vendor project environments and complex integration contexts.
- RAMS principles and safety-critical system lifecycle.
- Nice to have:
- Siemens CBTC systems knowledge.
- Experience with LTA Singapore customer
- Certification or formal training in CENELEC standards or functional safety.
