Siemens Building Products is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the 2nd shift warehousing and distribution activities of its Buffalo Grove facility. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for management of 2nd shift warehouse employees working within the areas of goods receiving, put away, picking, packing, and shipping. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager for Siemens Building Products Buffalo Grove.
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Ensure compliance with inventory cycle count and control processes
- Maintains warehouse team job results by measuring, monitoring, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees
- Ensure good condition of facility/equipment through regular audit and implementation of preventative maintenance protocols
- Respond timely and professionally to customer complaints and inquiries
- Conducts short and mid-term capacity planning to ensure labor and equipment resources balanced with demand
- Ensures warehouse staffing needs through recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
- Monitor warehouse workflow indicators and respond to exceptions
- Troubleshooting complex inventory location, put away, picking, packing, and shipping errors. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Guide and manage adjustments and configuration to WMS system including storage, receiving, put away, picking, replenishment, packing, and shipping processes
- Collaborate across departments to ensure efficient workflow and positive working relationships among teams
- Conduct training for employees on all aspects of job performance including safety, quality, business processes, and P&O policies
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma of state-recognized GED
- 2+ years of leadership experience in a high volume pick/pack operation
- Experience with warehouse management systems
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel
- Experience with operating and maintaining a variety of warehouse material handling equipment
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook),
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability and willingness to travel 5%
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP WM module
- Experience with warehouse scanning equipment and applications
- Experience with GTP (Goods to Person) and Packing automation

The pay range for this position is $55,264 - $94,738 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
