RET Consultant - Resolution Enhancement Techniques

This role involves leading a team to assess and analyze customer requirements for Resolution Enhancement Techniques (RET) implementation, uncovering lithography and mask optimization needs that may not have been initially recognized. It includes representing Consulting Services in sales campaigns focused on advanced node design and manufacturing solutions, developing new business opportunities in the RET and computational lithography space, and managing customer expectations throughout the engagement cycle.

Job Responsibility:

• Lead in Resolution Enhancement Techniques, this role delivers tasks within the RET domain, generates reusable OPC recipes, RET methodologies, and lithography-aware design solutions, and develops contingency plans for mask complexity and manufacturing feasibility issues.
• Create materials for knowledge transfer on RET best practices and sophisticated lithography techniques.
• Write training materials on computational lithography workflows, pursues development opportunities in emerging RET technologies (EUV, multi-patterning, curvilinear masks), stays updated with RET product features, lithography roadmaps, and industry trends, and mentors new consultants in Resolution Enhancement Techniques and mask optimization strategies.

Job Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:

• Hands-on experience in the post-tapeout flow with leading EDA tools is required. Experience with Calibre DRC, RET, OPC or lithography solutions is helpful
• Scripting language (Tcl/Tk, Python or equivalent) in UNIX/Linux environments is required; Standard Verification Rule Format (SVRF) rule languages or C/C++ programming is helpful
