Finance Intern - 9 month temporary intern contract

Join our team now at Siemens Healthineers as the Finance Intern, for our Instrument Manufacturing Plan in Swords, County Dublin - 9 month temporary intern contract

The Finance Intern will support the Finance team with key operational and project accounting tasks, including setting up SPCs (Standard Product Costs), transfer pricing (TP) configurations, capitalizing assets, preparing project proformas, and running cost and variance reports. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual interested in gaining hands-on experience in financial operations, project finance, and corporate structuring.

Text Box: Key Responsibilities: • Assist in setting up SPCs (Standard Product Cost) in accordance with internal Finance Procedures. • Support Transfer Pricing (TP) setup and documentation to ensure compliance with group policies. • Help track and capitalize assets once projects reach completion or meet capitalization criteria. • Assist in preparing and maintaining financial proformas for new and ongoing projects. • Run and review cost reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems. • Support monthly and quarterly reporting by consolidating data from multiple project entities. • Liaise with internal departments (project management, legal, procurement, etc.) to gather financial information. • Assist in maintaining finance system data integrity and project coding structures. • Provide ad hoc support to the Finance team as required. • Participates in site strategic activities, providing relevant input and support for KPI’s & organisational decisions • Ad-hoc reporting as required
