Your role:

The Country Controller directly supports the Country CFO in leading the country’s financial operations, ensuring strong performance and compliance under the Healthineers Performance System framework. Acting as a key business partner to the Country Head and Management Team, this role drives the execution of financial and operational initiatives, helping maintain the organization’s profitability, liquidity, and compliance. The Country Controller will oversee day-to-day financial processes and ensure adherence to accounting and governance standards. The role also collaborates closely with regional teams to manage financial risks, implement corporate finance policies, and ensure that all legal entity operations meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and integrity. 

Main Responsabilities:

  • Control country financial operations, applying the Healthineers Performance System framework in collaboration with the CFO and Country Head. 
  • Serve as a Business Partner to the Country Head and Management Team, supporting strategy execution and operational decisions.
  • Ensure the country’s financial liquidity, supporting key decision-making processes and ensuring efficient capital structure
  • Advice business management on finance-related topics for various units
  • Oversee financial processes in coordination with related zone teams
  • Ensure adherence to accounting rules, maintain the integrity of books and records, and escalate key issues. 
  • Manage financial risks, monitor internal controls, and ensure compliance with governance standards
  • Guide the implementation of Finance policies, programs, and standards.
  • Oversee legal entity ensuring quality standards in Finance operations and processes 
  • Drive efficient management of operating working capital by optimizing receivables, payables, and inventory cycles to shorten the cash conversion cycle and strengthen cash flow
  • Align equipment delivery with project readiness, ensuring imported equipment arrives only when installation sites are prepared, to minimize storage, warranty, and idle capital costs
  • Monitor and report key working capital KPIs (e.g., DSO, DPO, and inventory days), providing actionable insights and recommendations to management to improve cash generation
  • Promote a culture of cash discipline across areas, embedding working capital awareness into all different functions involved in the projects (i.e. sales, offer-to-order, order-to-cash, procurement, etc.) 

Your expertise:

  • 5+ years of experiencie in finance roles with profit & loss responsability
  • Ability to assess the overall performance of a company such as strategy, sales, major projects
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and evaluate the key financial figures.
  • Knowledge of relevant country-specific laws, regulations, and customs.
  • Proven ability to partner strategically, manage liquidity, and structure financial operations effectively.
  • Leadership experience in managing teams and driving organizational change.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on results, aligning financial operations with commercial operations. 
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
