The Vertical Business Developer will drive Siemens’ growth in the Data Center market by leveraging deep domain expertise and maximizing Siemens’ offerings. This role focuses on building and expanding vertical ecosystems, creating bundled solutions, and promoting Siemens’ value proposition across the entire data center lifecycle. The candidate will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to establish Siemens as a leader in automation and digitalization for data centers.
We are looking for a Vertical Business Specialist of data centers. This position is remote but can be based anywhere in the continental, US.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Execute global and regional vertical strategies for the Data Center segment.
- Drive adoption of Siemens solutions to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.
- Support local companies (LCBs) in representing Siemens at industry associations and events.
- Orchestrate and intensify partnerships using the Push-Pull concept to ensure successful projects.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders (EPCs, consultants, system integrators, associations, regulators).
- Coordinate across the vertical value chain to deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Promote Siemens’ thought leadership through End-to-End (E2E) and Down-to-End (D2E) marketing initiatives.
- Amplify Siemens’ presence in industry forums, social media, and events to set market trends.
- Develop and expand vertical-specific Siemens portfolios, ensuring scalability and competitiveness.
- Collect and analyze portfolio requirements from LCBs to optimize offerings.
- Collaborate with global vertical communities to share best practices and drive innovation.
- Coordinate development of organizational and functional strategies aligned with Siemens’ vision.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategy within the Data Center or related industries.
- Strong understanding of automation, digitalization, and OT/IT convergence.
- Proven ability to build ecosystems and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Sufficient portfolio knowledge of Digital Industries from Factory and Process Automation, Motion Control to Software
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA from accredited institution
- Experience in marketing and trend-setting within industrial verticals.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization and lead cross-functional initiatives.

The pay range for this position is $91,463 - $156,794 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
