(Senior) Financial Analyst (f/m/d) – Sales and Service - Grid Software

The Sales and Service Financial Analyst plays a critical role in driving financial transparency, performance management, and strategic decision-making across the Business Unit Grid Software (GridSW). This position is responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting cycles, and partnering closely with senior leadership across multiple functions.

You will make an impact by:
- You act as a Sales and Service Financial Analysts and Partner to multiple stakeholders in Sales, Finance, PPM, IT Incentive team, and Execution
- Develop, manage, and present monthly forecasts for Order Intake, ARR and Software and Service Revenue KPIs, quarterly outlooks, and annual budgets in partnership with business leaders and regional teams
- Lead special projects and ad-hoc analyses, including cost reviews and profitability assessments
- Drive Robust Sales and Service Data via Power BI applications
- Support the monthly rolling forecast with the GridSW GEOs and HQ sellers, and coordinate with key stakeholders within HQ, including senior sales management, Controlling, and Segment heads
- In addition you will work on the GridSW/ EA Power Utility Growth Plan, provide transparency and collaborate Cross-BU as well as on Account Targets for Account Directors
This is how you'll win us over
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with long-term years of professional experience in finance or financial management
- Prior experience in software business and/or project business is an advantage
- Experience with digitalization, process innovation, and modern financial tools and applications (e.g., SAP, Power BI, Snowflake, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Revenue contract structure and accounting experience (GAAP and IFRS)
- Demonstrated resilience, ability to multitask, and capacity to deliver results quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Understand in detail order and revenue value flows in Reporting, ERP systems and Accounting Revenue Recognition methods to support reporting and process improvements (BA Dash, PCK, ERP RevReq etc.)
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities, capable of interacting effectively across multiple organizational levels
- The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, culturally aware, and capable of managing complex data models and cross-functional initiatives in a global matrix environment with focus on business intelligence (PowerBI, Snowflake, Dataverse,…)
- Excellent English language skills is a must, German is a plus
