Team Lead - Rail Infrastructure

Position Overview:
Under minimal supervision, the Team Leader will be responsible for prioritizing and overseeing work in their assigned area. Preforming work in the assigned area, maintaining 5S and driving continuous improvement, as well as, data analysis and reporting as required.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Support production orders and projects, ensuring execution of processes using engineering drawings, industry standards, quality practices, and lean principles.
- Drive superior safety performance while initiating and leading process improvement projects.
- Provide guidance in resolving factory issues and utilize SAP ERP system, network files, and company applications.
- Coordinate work and resolve discrepancies with appropriate departments.
- Participate in internal process reviews and audits.
- Complete records of all results and enter data into log books or computer databases.
- Analyze and trend monthly team data; develop internal action items.
- Engage with quality, purchasing, material control, and other team leaders as needed.
- Monitor and process SAP production orders in the assigned area.
- Utilize all required measurement tools.
- Actively participate in Cell and production meetings.
- Organize and prioritize work with minimal oversight, including scheduling tasks for others.
- Perform duties of corresponding team lead focus areas (Assembly, Test, Material, Quality, etc.).
- Certify to train on relevant internal/external processes or standards and mentor fellow associates.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve production issues.
- Maintain strong technical understanding of products and processes.
- Own and lead specific production processes; analyze and report data.
- Perform housekeeping and 5S activities to keep work areas organized, safe, and accessible.
- Maintain cross-functional knowledge; perform other duties as requested or assigned.
To thrive in this role, you have:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong leadership skills
- Intermediate computer skills required
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Problem solving skills
- Siemens experience preferred
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Minimum of three to five year manufacturing experience preferred
- Knowledge of SAP is preferred

The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.

The pay range for this position is $19.40/hr - $28.60/hr per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
