Are you ready to be a trusted partner who makes finance matter in real business decisions? We’re searching for a Finance Lead for our Business Controlling team — someone keen to roll up their sleeves, steer financial strategy, and help drive progress for our organization.

 

As Finance Lead, you will ensure governance and compliance, delivering financial insights that empower fact-based decision-making. Collaborate closely with business leaders to drive growth. You’ll lead a team of controlling professionals, fostering productivity and creating value for the business.

 

Your Key Responsibilities:

 
  1. Governance  
    • Financial Integrity & Compliance: Make sure our financial records are reliable and compliant (with IFRS/local GAAP and internal controls). No shortcuts. Help implement mitigation strategies.
    •  
    • Budgeting & Forecasting: Drive and govern the planning processes (Budget/Forecast), implement global requirements, and focus on standardization and streamlining the planning process, including timeline, templates, and assumptions. Validate accuracy and consistency of budgets/forecasts across businesses, support business with co-creation of mitigation measures.
    •  
    • Performance Monitoring: Review performance regularly with business teams; highlight what’s working (and what’s not), and provide transparency in the Actuals. Drive variance analysis and root cause identification for corrective actions.

    • Audit & Control: Act as primary liaison for internal/external audits, RIC reviews, and keep our documentation in good shape.

  2.  
  3. Finance Business Partnering  
    • Act as a strategic partner to business line leaders, supporting decision-making and planning.
    •  
    • Translate financial insights into practical actions and future strategies.
    •  
    • Identify and drive opportunities for cost optimization, margin improvement, and efficient resource use.
    •  
    • Provide clear, data-driven advice on pricing, profitability, and business performance.
    •  
    • Ensure financial objectives are aligned with business goals.
    •  
    • Actively contribute to planning and implementation of transformation initiatives.
    •  
           
  4. Leadership  
    • Lead, develop, and coach your team consisting of professional business controllers, fostering a culture where everyone feels empowered to grow and work toward shared values.
    •               

Your Core Competencies:

 
  • Technical expertise in financial reporting, controlling, and compliance frameworks. 
  • Analytical ability to turn complex budgets, forecasts, and big data into business stories and actionable insights.
  • Business acumen with a deep understanding of what drives success and how numbers reflect business dynamics.
  • Communication and influence skills — making finance presentations clear, even to non-financial colleagues. Fluency in English is required.
  • Advanced MS Excel proficiency — your spreadsheets set the standard.
  • Leadership skills — development and mentoring a team, capable of leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Problem-solving mindset — thinking ahead and ready to meet new challenges.
  • Organizational skills to keep everything on track, even when the pace picks up.
