As a Head of Deal Desk you will consult and support in managing and optimizing the pricing and negotiation process for commercial business, involve in complex deals, significant contracts, and business agreements engaging in activities such as pricing strategy, support to contract negotiation, and collaboration with various business functions (i.e sales, marketing, finance, tenders, procurement, legal and service) to get the most level of profitability assuring that all potential risks associated with the deal are assessed and mitigate. evaluates the business implications of proposed deal, including potential risks and benefits. provides support to sales and commercial teams with necessary information to make informed decisions during the sales process from PM20 (bid/no bid) to PM40 (bid submission). Collaborates with the Global DD also by involving them, during the very early stage of the decision process were necessary or were requested by the complexity or strategic relevance of the deal to get support in the deal activity. implements at Country level the govern pricing policy according with Global guidance. supports Global and Zone DD in implementation at Country level of a streamlined deal escalation and approval process through automation. supports global adoption of system guided pricing strategy based on comparable deal matching model.

Your Role:

• Review deals in compliance with company policies and guidelines.

• Advising/Counseling sales teams on deal structuring, modeling, pricing, and T&Cs.

• Govern pricing policy in accordance with global guidance.

• Monitoring of market trends and competitor activity to optimize deal strategy.

• Regular review and approval of business partner pricelists.

• Collaboration with Global Deal Desk for Continuous improvement of deal management process.

• Execute pricing positioning of CLS and SLS based on global guidance.

• Safeguard data quality in CPQ systems for accurate reporting of deal performance.

• Communicate with stakeholders, including senior management and other departments, to deal with excellence risks and opportunities.

• Provide on-going training and support for all functions involved in deal building (sales, marketing, finance, etc.).

• Partnering Procurement in reducing the impact in terms of cost of 3rd party also finding alternative more competitive supplier in terms of cost and performance.

• Supporting sales and commercial team in the pre-competitive analysis to get best trade-off between technical and economic score to be reflected in the escalation form (deal and price rationale).

• Responsible to implement a Country level a process of debriefing on tender outcomes sharing the outcomes at Zone level (deep win/loss analysis).

• reports to the Zone Lead. He/she interacts directly with the Sales Team and Business Managers, with the service team and with other departments in the organization.

Your Expertise:

• Master/Bachelor in biomedical sciences, biochemistry or biology.

• Minimum of total 10 Years of experience, 2 to 5 years in sales, knowledge of lab organization, processes, deep understanding of tender and commercial dynamics.

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate the implications of proposed deal, assess risks, and ensure that deals align with the company's strategy.

• Solid financial acumen needs to analyze pricing structures, assess profitability, Strategic thinking to align individual deals with broader organizational goals and objectives.

• Capability to navigate different competitors’ scenario and deals landscape. Meticulous eye for detail to ensure accuracy and compliance to the tender requirements.

• Needs to work in high performing team, open for challenges and complex projects, creative and solution oriented.

• Needs to be efficient in Teamwork.

• Good English communication is required, Arabic an advantage.

• Ability to travel across the MEA Countries for DD meetings and trainings where required.
