You are a member of an international team working on pioneering solutions for our global projects that will shape the energy industry of tomorrow. 
Embedded in a team of specialists, you take responsibility for worldwide Oil & Gas projects, executed by the Business Area EAD within the Transformation of Industry.

How You'll Make an Impact

Structural Engineer duties and responsibilities
Design and analyse structure for E House, Skids, Modular Container, offshore structures in accordance with relevant codes and standards
Prepare Structural Design Report & Miscellaneous Design Report
Review the Weight & Control Report
Prepare Steel Framing plan, Steel Framing Elevations, Connection details 
Prepare Deck plating, grating layout, Equipment support, Stair and Handrail details
Structure Lifting arrangements and details 
Prepare Mechanical handling device layout and details 
Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTOs) for all primary, secondary, tertiary, and special structures, and provide bulk MTOs to support procurement activities
Prepare the Architectural Floor Plan & Details, Architectural Exterior Elevation, Architectural Insulation Layout & Details, Raised Floor layout and details
Prepare the Door Schedule and Details, Architectural Product Accessories
Prepare Foundation plan and Penetration, connection details 
Prepare detailed specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved
Account for possible project challenges or constraints and proactively seek to manage challenges
Planning and scheduling construction work
Assisting in preparation of construction documents
Reviewing construction documents and drawings
Providing guidance and direction to team members
Coordinating construction and installation of structures

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering (Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred)
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role
Professional work experience in developing blueprints and designs for proposed structures
Create structural models by using computer-aided design software, Aveva E3D, Tekla Structure, 
Strong computer skills, proficiency with SACS, ANSYS/FEMAP, Staad Pro, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage/ Freedom, AutoCAD
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and fast-tracking project environment
Advanced understanding of build materials, techniques and processes
Advanced understanding class approval (DNV, ABS, etc..)
Advanced knowledge of international building codes (ASME, API, ASCE, ANSI etc.)
