We are looking for Sales Strategy Manager
You’ll make a difference by
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory changes.
- Develop pricing models and cost-benefit analyses to optimize bid competitiveness.
- Prepare business cases for new product introductions or market entry strategies.
- Support long-term strategic planning for signaling business growth in domestic and international markets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve annual revenue and margin targets.
- Identify new business opportunities in railway signaling, interlocking systems, and associated technologies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders: Indian Railways, Metro Rail Corporations, EPC contractors, OEM partners.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and technical-commercial offers.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals ensuring profitability and compliance.
- Lead the end-to-end tendering process:
- Tender document analysis
- Technical and commercial compliance checks
- Risk assessment and mitigation planning
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Legal) for accurate bid costing and documentation.
- Ensure timely submission of bids with competitive pricing and value propositions.
- Maintain a bid repository for standard templates, past submissions, and lessons learned.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during pre-sales and bidding phases.
- Represent the company in client meetings, industry forums, and exhibitions.
- Collaborate with internal leadership to align sales and bidding strategies with corporate objectives.
Desired Skills:
- MBA from a reputed University,
- Preferably bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering, Railway Engineering, or related field.
- 5–7 years in sales, bidding, or strategy roles within railway signaling or transportation infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of Railway signaling.
- Familiarity with RDSO, IRSE, CENELEC, and SIL requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking.
- Proficiency in MS Office and tendering tools.
- Ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines.
Preferred Background:
- Experience with Indian Railways, Metro Rail projects, or global railway signaling projects.
- Exposure to large-scale infrastructure bidding processes and consortium-based projects.
- Knowledge of contract law, risk management, and financial modelling.
