Build and Dependency Management Engineer

Hello World, We’re Hiring!

At Siemens Digital Industries Software, we believe in empowering people to thrive in a constantly evolving world. We’re looking for curious minds, creative thinkers, and lifelong learners—people who want to make a meaningful impact today and shape the future of industry.

If that sounds like you, we’d love to welcome you to our diverse and dynamic team.

About Us

Siemens Software, part of Siemens Digital Industries, is a global leader in industrial software solutions. We help manufacturers unlock innovation through digital transformation, and we’re proud to be at the forefront of shaping the future of engineering and design.

About the Role

We’re currently looking for a Build and Dependency Management Engineer to join our team in Belgium and contribute to the development and maintenance of the Simcenter FLOEFD build system. You’ll be part of a global, multi-site development team working collaboratively to deliver high-quality, market-leading software solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll play a key part in evolving and supporting our continuous integration (CI) infrastructure. You’ll work closely with DevOps teams to help transition from Jenkins to GitLab CI, while also maintaining and improving product installers and CI-related software across both Windows and Linux environments.

You’ll contribute to automation efforts for compliance tooling, including static analysis, binary analysis, and threat response. Additionally, you’ll help modernize our build system by transitioning from a legacy script-based solution to CMake, ensuring scalability and maintainability.

Your work will directly support the delivery of robust, secure, and innovative software products used by engineers around the world.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who brings a collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn. Ideally, you’ll have experience with commercial software build systems and scripting languages such as Perl, Python, PowerShell, Bash, or JavaScript. Familiarity with Jenkins or similar CI tools, and C++ build tools like MS Visual Studio, MSBuild, and CMake, will be valuable.

An understanding of MSSQL and a readiness to work with third-party tools (e.g., scanners, analyzers, report generators) is appreciated. If you enjoy solving complex problems and aren’t afraid to dive into legacy codebases, you’ll thrive in this role.

Why Join Us

At Siemens Software, we’re not just transforming industry—we’re transforming ourselves. We offer the flexibility to work from home or the office, and we support our people with comprehensive benefits and development opportunities.

We’re committed to building an inclusive workplace where everyone feels respected and valued. We celebrate diverse perspectives, encourage open dialogue, and support work-life balance.
