You’ll collaborate with hospitals and universities across Great Britain and Ireland, helping clinicians get the very best from Siemens technology.
📍 Location:
This is a home‑based role (within mainland Great Britain), with regular travel to customer sites across GB & Ireland.
The role
As an Application Specialist, you will:
- Provide expert clinical application support for Siemens C‑arm interventional and fluoroscopy equipment across the UK and Ireland.
- Deliver engaging, tailored training sessions and clinical demonstrations for healthcare professionals, both pre‑ and post‑sales, on‑site and remotely.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with customers, internal colleagues, and Siemens’ global application specialist community to ensure excellent customer experience and satisfaction.
- Stay up to date with the latest equipment developments, clinical practices, and competitor solutions, enabling you to provide informed, forward‑thinking support.
- Represent Siemens Healthineers at national and local exhibitions, conferences, and study days, delivering system demonstrations as required.
- Manage and maintain demonstration systems, clinical images, and training materials to support effective customer engagement.
- Successfully complete the Siemens Application Specialist Education programme, maintaining expert‑level knowledge and certification.
Your experience and background
We welcome applications from radiographers who bring:
- HCPC registration as a Radiographer.
- Typically 3–5 years of clinical experience in a relevant imaging environment.
- Current clinical experience in cardiac imaging, interventional radiology, or neuroradiology.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across Great Britain and Ireland, including time away from home during the working week.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences.
- Effective planning, organisational, and time‑management skills.
Desirable (but not essential)
You may be particularly well suited to this role if you also have:
- Advanced knowledge of Siemens Artis systems.
- A willingness to undertake further training on Siemens C‑arm imaging equipment.
- Experience teaching, mentoring, or presenting in a clinical setting, with confidence speaking to groups of varying sizes.
