Vice President, Head of Industrial Strategy
- Define and Drive Industrial Strategy: Develop and champion a focused, comprehensive industrial/manufacturing strategy for Brightly, aligning product, sales, and marketing efforts to enhance market penetration and revenue growth. This includes a clear thesis on Brightly's industrial play, enabling our team to achieve bold growth in our chosen industrial segments.
- Strategic M&A and Partnerships: Identify, evaluate, and play a key role in strategic acquisition and partnership opportunities that enhance Brightly's industrial offerings and market position. You will harness your extensive experience in M&A to ensure the execution of successful integrations and build momentum for acquired solutions.
- Market Leadership and Thought Leadership: Establish Brightly as the leading voice and narrative-setter in industrial asset management. This involves actively engaging with external parties, clients, and prospects to socialize forward-leaning initiatives, signal thought leadership, and build a vibrant industry community through events, advisory boards, and strategic alliances. Your impact will be felt through improved positioning and enablement, and increased manufacturing win rates.
- Cross-Organizational Influence and Collaboration: Serve as the primary strategic liaison between Brightly and Siemens Digital Industries (DI), including critical touchpoints in PLC/SCADA/MES. You will work to ensure alignment and harness the full breadth of Siemens' industrial capabilities as part of your strategy.
- Product and Solution Enablement: Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure Brightly's solutions meet the evolving needs of industrial clients. Package and message integrations to reinforce and realize alignments, demonstrating the combined value proposition.
- Deep Industrial Asset Management Expertise: 10+ years of dynamic experience in asset management and industrial maintenance, with a profound understanding of manufacturing processes and challenges.
- Comprehensive Technical Savvy: Expert-level knowledge of CMMS, EAM, predictive analytics, and condition monitoring technologies. Familiarity with emerging approaches is highly desirable.
- Validated Strategic and M&A Leadership: A strong background in strategy development, M&A initiatives, and post-acquisition integration, with a track record of successfully evaluating and integrating companies.
- Extensive Industry Network: A robust professional network across manufacturing, life sciences, and utilities sectors, with strong connections to key industry players, leaders with vision, and potential partners. Active participation and speaking engagements at industry events are highly valued.
- Thought Leadership and Communication: Proven ability to articulate a clear vision, influence partners at all levels, and represent the company as a respected voice.
- Leadership and Influence: Strong executive presence and a focused approach to driving pivotal initiatives, coupled with the ability to build consensus and influence across complex organizational structures.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field. An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.

The pay range for this position is $171,217 - $293,515 annually with a target incentive of 25% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
