We are looking for an experienced and strategic-minded Head of Procurement for our Sibiu factory in Romania.

What is your area of responsibility?
· Lead the Procurement function at the factory Sibiu with a team of 7 direct reports and 75 Mil.€ purchasing volume.
· Be part of a Global Procurement Network to support and implement standards
· Challenge the status quo and closely collaborate with x-functional partners onsite and in the Business Lines, striving for the global PA Optimum
· Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies which support the company's long-term goals and financial objectives in alignment with superior strategies of the Business Unit/Operating Company.
· Lead the identification and implementation of productivity initiatives, negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, manage the procurement budget and increase productivity contribution.
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensure high level of service, quality and delivery performance.
· Identify and mitigate procurement related risks, including supply chain disruptions, compliance issues and market volatility.
· Drive x-functional aligned material field strategies implemented by supplier selections, evaluations and performance management with the aim to increase resilience in the supply chain.
· Oversee the development, negotiation and execution of contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
· Streamline procurement processes, implement best practices, and drive digital and agile transformation aiming to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
· Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. A good team spirit is the key to a successful value contribution and to the business success of DI PA.
· Ensuring all procurement activities adhere to company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
Your defining qualities.
· Bachelor's and above degrees in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or similar qualification; master's degree preferred.
· Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic procurement in different roles including at least one leadership role.
· You demonstrate real leadership characterized by strong communication skills, building network & relationships, open-minded, challenging status-quo and defining the framework for future oriented development
· Strong negotiation skills, ability to manage complex contracts and consistent track record of developing/executing strategic procurement plans.
· You have build successful teams through leadership, coaching - people development and diversity are your passion. You take your team with you through empowerment and leading by example.
· You fulfill the highest ethical standards, act with integrity, respect, and confidentiality.
· You demonstrate agility in your thinking, a growth mindset, and a personal lifelong learning mentality.
