Software Engineers - Associate

Assists more senior engineers in designing, developing, modifying, and implementing software programming for products (both internal and external) with focus on surpassing customers expectations by achieving high quality and on time delivery. Ensures the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanism. Works under close Supervision. Basic skills with moderate level of proficiency.
Looking for talented Software Engineer contractors to join the Teamcenter Visualization development team in Pune, India. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions for Siemens Teamcenter Visualization products.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement new features for the Teamcenter Visualization product suite.
Maintain and enhance existing software to ensure reliability and performance.
Analyze and solve complex technical challenges by creating user-friendly, effective solutions.
Work independently on complex projects with minimal supervision, delivering high-quality results on time.
Collaborate with customers and product management to develop detailed software specifications and design documentation.
Optimize software code for performance and robustness using static and dynamic code analysis tools.
Requirements:
Excellent analytical skills with a strong ability to analyze and resolve complex technical challenges.
Demonstrated track record of delivering high-performance software solutions.
Self-driven with strong time management and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative development environment in , globally distributed team
Prerequisites and Essential Functions
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer or Mechanical Engineering (BE/B.Tech/ME/MTech), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), or MSc in Mathematics is required.
1 to 3 years of software development experience in CAD/CAM/CAE/3D Graphics or PLM Client-Server applications.
Strong expertise in C/C++ programming within CAD/CAM/CAE/Graphics/Visualization product development. Knowledge of COM, design patterns, OOAD, computational geometry algorithms, and familiarity with graphics libraries like OpenGL is highly preferred.
OR
Experience as a Teamcenter client/server/full-stack development, with proficiency in JavaScript, React, CSS, HTML5, and C/C++.
User-level experience with any CAD or visualization or PLM application is a plus.
Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD), automated unit testing, and solid software engineering practices is highly desirable.
Experience working in an Agile software development environment is preferred.
