What will you do?
We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Sales Specialist to drive growth in our Digital Industries segment, with a focus on Motion Control and Industrial Automation solutions. This role involves identifying customer needs, proposing tailored automation solutions, and building long-term relationships across various industrial sectors including manufacturing, automotive, and electronics.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to promote motion control and industrial automation products and solutions.
- Identify and engage prospective clients across Ontario, understanding their technical and business needs.
- Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations.
- Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to design customized automation solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline forecasts.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and generate leads.
- Provide post-sales support and coordinate with service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
What will you need to succeed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or motion control sales.
- Strong understanding of PLCs, drives, sensors, robotics, and control systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite; SAP experience is an asset.
- Ability to travel across Ontario as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with OEMs, system integrators, and end-users.
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
