Working Student (f/m/d) – Siemens Xcelerator – Digital Marketplace Analytics
Mode of Employment: Limited, max. 20h/week

You'll make an impact by
- You will gather, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources including customer interactions, sales transactions, and platform performance metrics
- Following this, you will conduct in-depth analyses of user behavior, transaction data, and marketplace trends to identify patterns, correlations, and opportunities for business enhancements
- You will also develop and maintain a data quality dashboard in Power BI, automated with Airflow refresh pipelines to ensure real-time visibility into data health across the Snowflake and Power BI ecosystems
- Additionally, you will build dashboards and reports that translate complex data into easily understandable insights which support strategic decisions of stakeholders in marketing, operations, product development or customer experience teams
- Finally, you will integrate dbt-based transformations with version control to ensure full traceability and smoother collaboration across analytics workflows
This is how you'll win us over
- Education: You are currently a master's student pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Informatics, or a related field
- Experience and Skills:
- Initial experience as a data analyst or data scientist, preferably in e-commerce or digital marketplaces
- You are skilled in programming with Python and SQL
- You have experience with data engineering tools like Apache Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, Hive, and ETL/ELT pipelines
- Ways of Working: Strong analytical skills and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Languages: Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; ideally in German as well
