Join our Smart Infrastructure team in Egypt as a Senior Project Engineer and play a key role in delivering complex engineering projects that bring intelligent energy and automation solutions to life.

Your Role – Digital and Impactful

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will lead the technical execution of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to Siemens’ world-class standards. You will act as the central point between customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure every project is a success — technically, commercially, and operationally.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Leading and coordinating all engineering and execution activities for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with contractual, technical, and quality standards.
• Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, monitoring progress, and implementing corrective measures as needed.
• Acting as the primary technical interface for customers, conducting progress meetings and ensuring full transparency on project deliverables.
• Reviewing and validating engineering documentation, including designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Managing project budgets, tracking costs, and contributing to financial forecasting and reporting.
• Identifying project risks early and developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
• Ensuring all activities comply with Siemens’ HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies and relevant statutory requirements.
• Preparing and maintaining comprehensive documentation — test reports, progress records, and final handover packages.
• Collaborating closely with engineering, logistics, procurement, and field service teams to drive efficient project delivery.

Your Qualifications – Digital and Solid

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a reputable university.
• You bring with a minimum of 5 years of experience in project execution within electrical systems, industrial automation, or energy sectors. PMP® or IPMA® certification is mandatory.
• Proven expertise in LV/MV switchgear, protection systems, and power automation.
• Strong command of engineering documentation, technical drawings, and commissioning practice.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Customer-oriented mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
• Fluency in English (Arabic language skills are an advantage).

• Experience with Siemens Smart Infrastructure systems, tools, or equivalent industry solutions as well as Familiarity with utility and industrial customer requirements is big advantage.
• Understanding of contract management and financial project control.
• Strong negotiation, coordination, and presentation skills.
