Today, we are recruiting for a Project Interface Manager (Signaling/Communications) to join our team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

What are my responsibilities?

• Contribute to the setup and maintenance of the interface management process reflecting the project’s specific needs and contract requirements.
• Ensuring that the interface management process is implemented to the SMO & consortium internal organization and followed.
• Monitor and coordinate newly identified interfaces.
• Support the Interface entities during the Interface lifecycle regarding achievement of overall system purposes.
• Setup and chair interface meetings internally as well as the customer consultant.
• Be the moderator between entities having conflicts and/or difficulties to reach agreements and initiate further escalation to resolve the conflict.
• Ensure that the achievements of Interface Management are systematically documented reflecting the individual project lifecycle phases.
• Responsible for SIG/COM lead interfaces.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and demonstrated equivalent professional experience
• Extensive experience working in a complex technical environment, with the capability of strong knowledge and understanding in technical disciplines such as SCADA, Railway Signalling and/or telecommunication
• Demonstrated experience in successfully leading development and implementation of third-party interface agreements for major infrastructure projects
• Experience with a sound understanding in coordination, process, practices involved in planning for and delivering major projects with a sound understanding of contract requirements
• Analysis of contractual interface deliverables and drive required interface clarifications internal and external
• Involvement of interface owners and contributors and coordinate activities
• Drive solution-finding together with interface partners in addressing gaps
• Drive interface closing with interface stakeholders
• Fluent in English and Arabic is a must.
