We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior PERC QA Engineer to join our PERC QA team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality, accuracy, and performance of the Calibre PERC product – a leading Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tool used by semiconductor companies worldwide. You will play a critical part in validating advanced reliability verification methodologies, ensuring our customers can design robust and reliable integrated circuits against sophisticated challenges like Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), Electrical Over-Stress (EOS), and various circuit reliability issues.

You will be part of a team responsible for testing, debugging and qualifying software releases and updates. Quality assurance responsibilities will involve:

  • Own the development and execution of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test methodologies for new features and improvements.
  • Analyze product specifications, design documents, and customer requirements to ensure detailed test coverage for IC reliability verification.
  • Define and implement advanced testing strategies focusing on functional correctness, performance, scalability, and robustness across various technology nodes.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Product Engineers, and Application Engineers to understand sophisticated reliability challenges and translate them into effective test scenarios.
  • This job requires the candidate to make immediate contributions to the team. The candidate should have strong testing abilities and have knowledge of IC industry. The ideal candidate should also exhibit the following behavioral traits:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related subject area
  • 5 years in SW Quality Assurance with solid scripting programming skills
  • Extensive Linux or Unix operating system experience
  • Validated experience writing Tcl code
  • Shell Scripting experience (e.g., bash, ksh, csh)
  • Familiar with using defect tracking systems
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Knowledge of IC manufacturing process flows
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Extensive hands-on experience of various circuit reliability checks
  • Strong understanding of the complete IC design flow, including layout, schematics, netlists (SPICE, Verilog), and GDSII data.
  • In-depth knowledge of semiconductor device physics, common reliability mechanisms
  • Experience developing or testing products
