We are looking for a Fabrication Group Leader for 1st Shift. This position will be based in Roebuck, SC.

Shift Hours: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm

Hourly Rate: $28.10

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:  

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Experience managing material flow.
  • Experience in empowering and leading teams (up to 20 employees).
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs., and push/pull/slide heavy material and make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.
  • In this role, you must be able to meet the physical requirements, which include, but are not limited to, the following:
    • Ability to walk 1/4 mile within 7 minutes, sustain bilateral pinch of at least 32 lbs., sustain vertical push of 12.5 lbs. with non-dominant hand for 15 seconds, for 8 cycles and perform 30 minutes of consecutive standing and carrying 25 lbs. for 15 feet. 
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma / GED

You will make an impact by:

  • Coordinate and support team operations to meet production schedules, including cross-training and updating matrix.
  • Manage time and priorities effectively in a dynamic environment, ensuring multitasking and adaptability.
  • Handle SAP transactions and maintain reports for metrics, while accessing and updating required documentation.
  • Identify and resolve issues proactively, collaborating with other departments and fostering strong working relationships.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives (CIP projects), applying Lean principles such as 5S and 7 Wastes, and ensuring a clean, safe work area.
  • Act as backup for Supervisor and perform additional tasks as directed, empowering team ownership and engagement.

The pay range for this position is $28.10 per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
