Siemens Osakeyhtiö is looking for a Functional Excellence Specialist to work within supply chain management across the Nordics. You will join SCM Nordics, a team of experienced colleagues located across the Nordic and Baltic countries, who have embarked on an exciting journey of harmonising standards, processes and commodity strategies, taking supply chain management to the next level across the Nordics. You will work closely together with 12 colleagues, who drive functional excellence, commodity management and local buying across multiple business units.

What is your role?
  • Design and implement procurement processes to support relevant Businesses, Workstreams, and Functions.
  • Scale standardised global solutions, systems and processes across the Nordic/Baltic region.
  • Independently drive process optimisation, standardisation and harmonisation projects across the Nordic/Baltic region within Procurement.
  • Prepare and conduct data analyses to support data driven procurement decisions and governance activities.
  • Gather and prepare internal/external Nordic data and information required by the Global SCM Functional Excellence community 
  • Review KPI tracking and take necessary actions to ensure process compliance according to Siemens Standards
  • Share internal/external information and updates with key stakeholders through relevant platforms
  • Conduct regular information and training sessions with stakeholders cross the region 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the region to drive projects and ensure compliance
  • Support the implementation of global/regional initiatives in the fields of digitalisation, cybersecurity and sustainability 
Who are we looking for?

According to your personality, you are a good business partner and get along with different people. You find solutions to different challenges and situations. You are experienced in functional excellence, compliance and procurement processes. Your communication skills are excellent. Fluent English is a prerequisite.

Your skills and competences include:
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to drive the strategic roadmap for procurement innovation and digital transformation
  • Lead capability-building and knowledge sharing initiatives
  • Act as a thought leader for procurement process and data excellence topics
  • Proficiency in problem-solving to identify and resolve potential issues across processes/compliance topics
  • Interest in implementing new digital solutions to optimise tasks and workflows
  • Possess great interpersonal skills - experience of working within a complex / matrix organisation
  • Strong sense of ownership and self-drive when working independently as well as within teams 
Your desired qualifications:
  • Relevant educational background and experience in procurement/supply chain 
  • Bachelor or master’s degree in business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Data Science, or related field
  • Proficiency in MS 365 Applications, knowledge of procurement processes (S2C, P2P, R2R) and ERP systems (preferably SAP)
  • International experience in Procurement and Process Management
