Industrial Infrastructure Sales Account Manager
Position Overview
Siemens is looking for an experienced Industrial Infrastructure Sales Account Manager focused on selling the Smart Infrastructure (SI) Systems Portfolio of products and services in the industrial power market. You will make an impact by strong customer relationships and a track record of success to win Switchgear projects with industrial end users, utilities, integrators, and industrial contractors/ EPCs in Louisiana.
This individual will report to the Central Region Sales Director and have a strong background in power distribution equipment / switchgear sales for Industrial Power and Utility applications. Expertise in selling medium voltage and low voltage switchgear and motor control centers, transformers, and power automation solutions is required. A solid working knowledge of how Industrial Microgrids work and how the Siemens Smart Gear value proposition enhances the electrical distribution power systems.
This individual is responsible for delivering sales growth with an assigned account base and to develop and execute sales strategies for those assigned accounts in coordination with other Siemens sales teams in the territory. Excellent Account Management skills are key to growing and expanding relationships. Prior success working within a matrix organization and across multiple departments to win large, complex power projects is a plus.
The candidate will need to effectively sell at several levels within a customer’s organization including corporate executives, director, VP Level, engineering, purchasing, operations, maintenance, and plant management.
This a remote position based in Louisiana.
Role Description
- Employs Siemens’ global reach to impact decisions on projects that deliver solutions to U.S. customers.
- Guides the development and execution of strategic account plans for industrial and utility customers to ensure the achievement of assigned business goals.
- Builds collaborative project capture account teams and coordinates team activities.
- Brings to bear industry expertise for guiding customer planning and budgeting on both product and electrical system sales.
You will win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales experience in the power distribution market with deep domain knowledge of Industrial Power Transmission & Distribution applications with Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Switchgear and Services
- Travel up to 50% throughout Louisiana and Arkansas
- Must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in the Louisiana O&G or Chemical Market
- Proficient with bid process and packaging for large projects to lead capture teams to win projects

The pay range for this position is $91,463 - $188,006 annually plus an uncapped commission structure. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
