We are searching for an outstanding professional to take on the role of Head of Portfolio Management Equities (f/m/d) within Siemens Fonds Invest GmbH (SFI). In this strategic position, you will act as a trusted investment expert and empower a high-performing team. If you bring extensive expertise in equity management and a forward-thinking approach to innovation, this role offers you the opportunity to shape the future of investment strategy and make a meaningful impact.

Your key responsibilities. 
  • Strategic Leadership: Lead and manage the Equity Fund Management team while actively participating as a member of the Investment Committee, jointly overseeing strategic and tactical decisions for equities, bonds, and currencies.
  • Strategy & Market Expertise: Develop and implement active and passive equity strategies with a focus on Europe and the USA, while advancing quantitative investment strategies. Experience with artificial intelligence is a plus. Conduct in-depth analysis of global equity markets to derive informed investment decisions.
  • Portfolio Management: Be responsible for the performance, risk management, and reporting of equity portfolios. Contribute to the cross-team management of existing multi-asset strategies.
  • Client & Collaborator Communication: Regularly report to clients on portfolio performance, market outlooks, and investment decisions. Represent equity management strategies at conferences, forums, and internal events, and participation in investment committee meetings. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Sales and Risk Management teams to ensure alignment and drive overall success.

Your defining qualities. 
  • Academic Background
    • Holds a degree or equivalent experience in Financial Mathematics, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
    • Certifications such as CFA, CIIA, or an equivalent qualification are advantageous and highly welcome.
  • Experience & Expertise
    • Proven track record with long-term professional experience in investment management and trading expertise 
    • Knowledge of relevant programming languages and experience in conducting backtests and data analysis.
    • Strong process-oriented and analytical thinking skills.
  • Leadership Capabilities
    • Demonstrated leadership affinity, with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively.
    • Confident in presenting complex content to decision-makers and collaborators.
  • Collaboration & Values
    • Highly proficient English skills, both written and spoken.
    • Independent, yet highly team-oriented working style.
    • High level of commitment, initiative, and willingness to take responsibility.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that foster collaboration across departments.
