As a Senior Communications Manager (f/m/d), you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's voice and reach. The Role: A Dual Focus on Impact 

This exciting position is designed for strategic thinkers, willing to roll up their sleeves. You'll be responsible for our whole portfolio, with approximately 50% of your time dedicated to general marketing communications and the other 50% focused on digital communications, analytics, and demand generation. 

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

I. Marketing Communications Generalist (approx. 50%) 

  • Strategic Communication Planning: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive communication strategies and campaigns that align with business goals and enhance brand reputation 
  • Content Creation & Storytelling: Craft compelling messages, press releases, articles, presentations, case studies, and internal communications that inform, inspire, and engage various stakeholders 
  • Brand Guard: Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all communication channels and materials 
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., product management, sales, HR) and external partners (e.g., media, agencies) to ensure integrated communication efforts 
  • Media Relations: Manage media inquiries, cultivate relationships with journalists, and identify opportunities for positive media coverage. 
  • Event Support: Provide communication support for key events, conferences, and webinars 

II. Digital Communications & Demand Generation Specialist (approx. 50%) 
  • Website Strategy & Management: Oversee the content strategy, user experience (UX), and performance of our key websites, ensuring they are engaging, up-to-date, and optimized for search engines (SEO) 
  • Google Analytics & Reporting: Utilize Google Analytics and other digital tools to monitor website performance, analyze user behavior, and provide actionable insights to optimize digital strategies and content 
  • Demand Generation Campaigns: Design, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns (e.g., email marketing, paid media, content syndication) aimed at generating leads and nurturing prospects 
  • Digital Content Optimization: Work with content creators to ensure digital content is tailored for online consumption, SEO-friendly, and supports demand generation efforts. 
  • Performance Monitoring: Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of digital communication initiatives, continuously seeking ways to improve ROI and engagement 
  • Emerging Trends: Stay abreast of the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices, bringing innovative ideas to the team 

Your defining qualities:

  • Education:
    • Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Journalism, or a related field
  • Experience & Skills:
    • Longterm experience in marketing communications, with a significant portion dedicated to digital marketing and demand generation
    • Proven ability to develop and execute integrated communication strategies across multiple channels 
    • A deep understanding of B2B communication principles and the ability to quickly grasp complex topics, distill their core essence, and translate them into compelling messages for business customers
    • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with website content management systems (CMS), Google Analytics, SEO best practices, and digital advertising platforms 
    • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail and an ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and platforms 
    • Strong ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize communication efforts 
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
    • Experience within the eMobility sector is a significant advantage.
  • Ways of working:
    • A natural team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across diverse teams.
  • Languages:
    • Fluent in English (written and spoken). Proficiency in German is a significant advantage.
