Siemens Mobility was chosen to lead the electric train revolution in Israel as the manufacturer of the trains and their maintenance.
We are currently seeking Quality Assurance (QA) Manager for our Ashkelon Depot to ensure quality standards during the commissioning phase of railway projects.
This role is crucial in maintaining high-quality standards and coordinating quality assurance activities across multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- You will lead the maintenance and updates of the Quality Management Plan, ensuring full compliance with Siemens standards.
- Lead quality assurance activities during vehicle commissioning phase
- You will ensure all processes are followed in alignment with approved quality methods and standards.
- Conduct and oversee incoming vehicle inspections according to established protocols.
- Coordinate quality-related documentation and reporting control processes review gates, and approval workflows.
- Manage and track project-specific KPIs.
- Facilitate communication between complaints, documentation, and operational QA teams.
Project Management
- Plan and coordinate QA personnel requirements
- Ensure timely processing of quality-related issues
- Support handover processes for multiple units
- Support customer audits and warranty discussions
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a comparable qualification Substantial experience in quality assurance
- Strong understanding of railway standards - Advantage
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in quality management methodologies
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office and SAP
- Fluent in German and English

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving ability and resilient under pressure
- Detail-oriented with strong quality consciousness
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
