About the role:

We are looking for developers with a good working knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript and some experience or an interest in developing user interfaces. Working alongside senior engineers, you will be developing new features and maintaining our VS Code extension. The extension is used to write, execute and view the results of programs for one of our data analytics products.

What you’ll bring:

• A first- or second-class degree in software engineering, computer science or related discipline
• Some experience in the development of Javascipt/Typescript applications
• Some experience with Node.js
• Experience with writing extensions for VS Code is highly preferable
• Experience or an interest in developing user interfaces
• Experience of writing unit tests for TypeScript/JavaScript applications
• Excellent spoken and written English language skills
• An interest in mathematics and data science is also desirable but not essential.
