Baseline Requirements: 

  • Currently enrolled as a university undergraduate student 

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA  

  • Authorized to work in the United State without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company 

  • Preferred graduation year: 2027

Internal Culture & Communication Intern  

 
Responsibilities: 

  • Support the internal communications manager in developing and executing strategies to enhance company culture, employee engagement, and change management for the Industry Strategy & Marketing team.  

  • Contribute creative ideas for communicating organizational changes—using not only written methods but also innovative formats such as graphics, videos, interactive media, and social platforms.  

  • Assist with planning and promoting the company’s working environment initiative, focused on improving virtual collaboration and team connections.  

  • Help organize and promote virtual events, meetings, and team-building activities to foster connection and community among remote/hybrid employees.  

  • Support change management efforts by helping communicate upcoming changes, gathering employee feedback, and assisting with training or adoption initiatives.  

  • Create engaging internal communications content (newsletters, intranet updates, recognition programs) and experiment with new formats to reach and inspire employees.  

  • Measure the impact and effectiveness of culture, communications, and change management programs; suggest areas for improvement.  

  • Conduct research and provide recommendations to improve communications channels, cultural initiatives, and change adoption. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Current student pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, Media, Public Relations, or a related field 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Creativity and innovative thinking to develop engaging content and experiences 

  • Experience or interest in graphic design, video creation, or other innovative communication methods 

  • Proficient with virtual collaboration tools and platforms 

  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities 

  • Interest in employee experience, workplace culture, internal branding, and change management 

  • Creativity and innovative thinking to develop engaging content and experiences. 

 

This internship provides hands-on experience in internal communications, employee engagement, organizational culture, and change management. It’s a great opportunity to gain exposure to communications, marketing, and change initiatives within a dynamic corporate environment. 

 




The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location, as well as degree type and relevant education. In addition, this position is eligible for time off in accordance with Company policies, including paid sick leave and paid volunteer time off.

You’ll Benefit From
The hourly pay range for this position is 18-50 per hour for first time Interns or 18-50 per hour for returning Interns. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
