As part of that set-up, the Siemens AI Lab in Munich is a small and dedicated team that drives customer engagement related to Industrial AI at Siemens. We explore the potential of responsible and sustainable AI together with the Siemens Business Units and their customers and partners in order to find AI solutions and products that are both technically innovative and commercially viable, and come with a positive impact on people and society.
To accelerate our mission as the Munich-based innovation hub in a vibrant ecosystem of our customers, start-ups and academic partners, we are looking for a "Senior Engagement Manager for Industrial AI" to help us engage with customers and partners to identify potential for Industrial AI activities.

You'll make an impact by
- Collaborate in multi-disciplinary environments, interfacing seamlessly with AI research teams, AI consultants, sales managers, customer data scientists, and other stakeholders in order to engage with clients.
- Translate complex operational and business needs into project approaches and technical solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor who understands both the technical possibilities and business realities of Industrial AI.
- Develop, sharpen, and drive methodological approaches like "AI Visioning", "AI Transformation Strategy", or "AI Readiness Assessment" to apply in workshops or short projects that help customers build up trust and open up for subsequent larger projects.
- Communicate trends, industry challenges, and references to different audiences – from conference stages to one-on-one discussions with C-Level representatives from European SMEs – elevating Siemens' profile as a leader in Industrial AI.
- Work in a purpose-driven, experienced and highly visible team in one of Munich’s most attractive locations within a powerful network to drive the future of AI at Siemens.
This is how you'll win us over
- Education: Excellent academic background (at least Master's degree, excellent results) in a technical and/or business-related field with proven ability and willingness to exceed expectations.
- Experience and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in a consultancy, renowned industrial or tech company, or a start-up, with a proven track record of working with data scientists, engineers, and cloud architects, sufficient technical depth to understand architectures, evaluate solutions, and translate between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Relevant project experience in industrial, OT, or applied AI environments, with a solid understanding of current AI technologies and their application in industrial domains such as manufacturing, engineering, energy, buildings, or mobility.
- Experience with IT/OT architectures and cloud-based AI solutions; knowledge of industrial standards is a plus.
- Ways of Working: High degree of curiosity, willingness to learn and innovate, social skills, and team spirit, thriving in collaborative, multi-disciplinary environments; growth mindset and openness to learning new tools, approaches, and technologies.
- Languages: Fluency in English is essential; German language skills are highly beneficial for engaging with local partners (not mandatory, but a strong plus).
