What are my responsibilities?
*Coordinate with all regional operation & service managers to ensure planning and implementation of all project-related activities and measures regarding EHS matters for multiple project sites in solution & service business.
*Focus on ensuring that internal and external EHS requirements are complied with and on laying down protective measures to prevent accidents. Guides, instructs, and supports the site safety officers to ensure adherence to EHS processes at site by the site team including sub-contractor.
*Coordinates the various Contractors operating within the project site and determine & evaluate risk areas and drive implementation of mitigation measures. 
*Draw up the site specific EHS plans in line with the requirements of the project and ensures that it is implemented.
*Assist the Project Manager with planning, supervision, monitoring and reporting on EHS matters in all phases of the project.
*Plans and maintains in coordination with all Regional EHS officer for adequate and competent EHS resources at sites to execute the defined scope of work safely. 
*Coordinate with all regional EHS officer and regional project team to collect EHS data every month for EHS dashboard reporting.
*Plan & Conduct EHS awareness sessions in coordination with all project team.
*Reports to Regional EHS officer for EHS related topics.

What do I need to qualify for this job?
Skills and Experience:
5-10 years of professional experience as occupational safety officer on construction sites and in service business.
Knowledge on environmental protection, emergency management and fire prevention
Knowledge of planning and tendering for collectively managed EHS/safety equipment 
Experience in different projects with an interdisciplinary approach, and technical supervision of internal and external employees 
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team. Cross-disciplinary thinking 


Decision-making skills and assertiveness. 
Initiative and results-orientation.
Willingness to move across India according to the Projects
Commitment to Siemens values and to ethical principles

Education & Training:
Degree / Diploma in Engineering / Science and EHS related recognized qualifications / Certificates (e.g., ADIS – recognized by state board of technical examinations, NEBOSH Diploma).
Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management system and implementing/ managing management system elements.
