Siemens is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our Data Center construction projects team. In this role, you will manage, organize, and control all project documentation, ensuring accurate classification, secure storage, version control, and full compliance with client specifications. Your work will be critical to supporting efficient project execution and maintaining the highest standards of quality and reliability

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a structured document control system.
  • Receive, review, and archive project documents (drawings, specifications, contracts, reports, correspondence).
  • Ensure version control and timely distribution of updated documents to stakeholders.
  • Track submissions, approvals, and revisions using logs and tracking sheets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to collect and archive required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with document retention, formatting, and security guidelines.
  • Support audits and respond to document retrieval requests.
  • Archive project documentation upon completion and ensure proper handover to operations.
  • Act as the central point of contact for documentation requests and information flow.
  • Prepare reports such as document submittals status.
  • Strong role in claim / change management process
To be successful in this position you need to 
  • Know how to document control practices in engineering and construction environments.
  • Have experience in Project lifecycle documentation (design, construction, procurement).
  • Have proven knowledge of standards for document classification, version control, and archiving.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and document control platforms. (Aconex, SharePoint, Nexus or similar).
  • Have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Understand the criticality of document management in claim management processs
  • Have the ability to manage multiple document flows under tight deadlines.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be Self-motivated and have a client-focused attitude.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as Document Controller on large-scale projects; Data Center experience preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Autocad. Knowledge of BIM will be valued.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong writing skills for reports and correspondence.
