Today, we are recruiting for a Service Engineer to join our team in Turkey. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

 

What Are My Responsibilities?

  • Supervise and coordinate installation and maintenance works for railway signalling and communication systems.
  • Oversee installation and maintenance of electrical equipment, UPS systems, and energy compensation facilities.
  • Manage works related to GSM-R, SCADA systems, energy transmission, overhead catenary (OCL), earthing, and voltage protection systems.
  • Plan and organize maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to railway operations.
  • Lead and coordinate site teams, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project requirements.
  • Support troubleshooting and fault analysis of signalling, communication, and power systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with railway safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Support system upgrades, testing activities, and technical reporting as required.
 

What Do I Need to Qualify for This Job?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical-Electronics, Electronic Communications, Computer Engineering, Railway Systems, Mechatronics, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a similar railway systems role.
  • Proven experience in maintenance of railway signalling, communication, and electrical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of railway signalling systems, preferably including Interlocking, ERTMS, Track Circuits, RBC, and CTC systems.
  • Ability to plan work activities and manage site teams effectively.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems and network systems is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work in shift-based operations and travel without restrictions.
  • Good command of English is a plus.
  • Flexible, structured, and capable of working in dynamic railway environments.
