We have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our team in Chippenham! Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, you will play a key role within the central finance team, supporting the Finance Director and senior leadership in understanding cost drivers, improving financial insight, and helping the business make informed decisions.
The role is based in Chippenham, however we’re open to considering other Siemens Mobility locations for the right candidate. This role promotes hybrid working.

Management Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management information
- Produce monthly cost centre forecasts, working closely with budget holders
- Support the annual budget and planning process
- Respond to queries and ad‑hoc analysis requests from stakeholders across the business
Business Partnering
- Build effective relationships with Managers, Heads of Functions and Directors, helping them understand performance and cost drivers
- Communicate financial information clearly and confidently, tailoring your approach to different audiences
Process Improvement & Technology Enablement
- Identify opportunities to streamline, automate and improve existing processes
- Contribute to internal finance transformation and continuous improvement projects
- Develop and enhance financial models, reports and analysis tools using Excel and other BI tools & systems
Senior Management Accountant Support
- Provide cover for key monthly deliverables when required
- Deputise for Senior Management Accountant when required
Your success will be grounded by …
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting or finance analysis roles
- Part‑qualified / Qualified, or actively studying (CIMA / ACCA or equivalent)
- Strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
- High level of competence with Excel, data analysis and financial modelling
- Curious about new technologies and confident learning new systems quickly, ability to leverage new technologies to add value.
- Able to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable:
- Experience with SAP ERP
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Keen to explore how new technology can empower us to work smarter
