The Business Test Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all business testing activities within the ART. This role ensures that business requirements are thoroughly validated, quality standards are met, and solutions are fit for purpose before deployment. The Business Test Manager acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the testing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive business test strategies, plans, and schedules.
• Coordinate and lead business testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), end-to-end testing, and business process validation.
• Collaborate with BPE team, POs, and technical teams to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure test cases comprehensively cover business requirements and processes.
• Manage test resources, assign tasks, and monitor progress.
• Identify, document, and track defects or issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Prepare and present test reports, metrics, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Facilitate UAT sessions, including user training and support.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

Interaction with Product Management

• Work closely with Product Management to understand business goals, priorities, and feature requirements.
• Participate in product planning sessions to ensure testability and business value are considered from the outset.
• Provide feedback to Product Management on test results, business risks, and readiness for release.
• Support Product Management in defining and refining acceptance criteria and success metrics.

Interaction with IT Test Manager

• Coordinate with the IT Test Manager to align business and technical testing activities, ensuring comprehensive coverage across all layers.
• Share test plans, schedules, and defect reports to maintain transparency and synchronization.
• Participate in joint defect triage and resolution meetings.
• Ensure a seamless handover between system/integration testing (led by IT Test Manager) and business/UAT testing (led by Business Test Manager).
• Collaborate on continuous improvement of end-to-end testing processes and tools.
