Whether your background is in project delivery, building automation, field service, construction sales, or a related technical discipline, this role puts you at the center of complex new‑construction solutions that materially impact safety, efficiency, energy performance, and occupant experience.

This is a relationship‑driven role for someone who can connect technical value to business outcomes and thrives in a fast‑moving, opportunity‑rich commercial construction environment.
As a Solutions Senior Sales Executive, you will:
- Drive new construction growth by achieving assigned booking and profitability targets through proactive business development, opportunity qualification, and disciplined pipeline management, including accurate forecasting
- Build and expand relationships with contractors, consulting engineers, developers, owners, and end users - positioning Siemens early in the project lifecycle and influencing design and solution selection
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their business, project, and building performance challenges and recommending integrated automation solutions that deliver measurable value
- Lead complex sales pursuits end‑to‑end, developing go‑to‑market and vertical growth strategies, collaborating with estimators and internal teams to prepare pricing, proposals, and bid packages, and independently executing deals within established guidelines
- Position Siemens as a market leader by staying current on automation and construction market trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies, while representing Siemens at industry events and professional organizations (e.g., ASHRAE, AEE, USGBC)
- Partner cross‑functionally with operations, finance, legal, and internal sales support teams to deliver strong customer outcomes, spending at least 50% of your time in direct customer‑facing activities and traveling as needed (~10%)
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience either: in a customer-facing role such a Project Manager or Technician/Specialist within the building automation industry OR in a sales role within the building automation or a similar industry (selling to the same commercial building customers)
- Financial expertise to estimate and sell technical solutions and service offerings effectively and independently
- Account development, presentation, and negotiation skills
- High School Diploma or state-recognized GED
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program

Preferred Qualifications:
