This site will support approximately 1,700 employees and specialize in Busway and Busplug manufacturing, including metal and bar fabrication, powder painting, plating, epoxy, and assembly operations. We are looking for a Quality Management System (QMS) Supervisor to support our new Manufacturing Facility. As part of the facility startup team, you will play a key role in establishing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) required to support operational readiness and long-term manufacturing excellence. You will help build the foundation for a world-class quality culture while ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and corporate quality requirements.
You will make an impact by:
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) to support facility startup and ongoing operations.
- Establish and maintain quality system documentation including policies, procedures, work instructions, process maps, forms, and records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, customer requirements, regulatory requirements, and corporate quality policies.
- Coordinate internal audits, process audits, and external certification audits while ensuring timely closure of corrective actions.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities to address quality system nonconformances and drive continual improvement.
- Support quality planning and risk assessment activities associated with facility startup, new equipment installation, and manufacturing process validation.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Facilities, and Operations teams to ensure quality requirements are incorporated into business processes and facility readiness activities.
- Develop and monitor quality metrics, KPIs, and management review processes to assess QMS effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage document control processes, including revision control, approval workflows, retention requirements, and distribution of controlled documents.
- Support supplier quality qualification and onboarding activities, ensuring quality requirements are appropriately defined and implemented.
- Coordinate employee training programs related to QMS requirements, quality procedures, and compliance expectations.
- Participate in ERP system implementation, testing, and validation activities to ensure quality processes and records are properly integrated into operational systems.
- Support customer audits, regulatory inspections, and certification body assessments.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, problem-solving methodologies, and quality best practices.
- Supervise and develop Quality personnel as assigned, fostering a culture of accountability, quality ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Support the transition from facility startup activities into stable production operations, ensuring all quality systems are fully implemented and effective.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years of experience in quality management, quality assurance, manufacturing quality, or Quality Management Systems.
- 2+ years of supervisory, team lead, or quality leadership experience.
- Experience implementing, maintaining, or improving Quality Management Systems within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience conducting internal audits, managing corrective actions, and supporting external audits.
- Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, or other applicable industry standards.
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting greenfield manufacturing facilities, plant startups, or facility expansions.
- Experience leading QMS implementation during facility startup or operational readiness activities.
- Certified Internal Auditor, Lead Auditor, or other quality certifications.
- ASQ certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), or similar.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and quality management modules.
- Knowledge of core quality tools including FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, PPAP, 8D, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Experience supporting customer, certification, and regulatory audits.
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Advanced data analysis and reporting skills.

The pay range for this position is $102,459 - $175,644 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
