Join our team as Order to Invoice Process Expert (f/m/d) and play a key role in driving automation, digitalization, and harmonization across Siemens' finance and controlling processes.

This will be your impact:

  • Process Design and Automation: As a process expert for the Order to Invoice flow, you'll analyze global and regional needs and ensure systems are aligned using best-practice templates for financial processes.
  • Business Requirements Evaluation: You'll review business needs for order entry, planning, execution, delivery, and returns. You’ll design clear, efficient processes that meet both business and technical goals.
  • System Harmonization: You'll align financial systems with legal and reporting standards, ensuring they stay flexible and streamlined. You’ll also look for improvements that simplify the core environment.
  • Cross-Project Management: You'll handle tasks that span multiple projects, including adapting guidelines, preparing decision materials, and documenting updates to accounting instructions.
  • Implementation and Development: You’ll lead process changes from planning to go-live, turning business needs into clear concepts that work for both teams and IT. This includes presenting current and future solutions in your governance area.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • With Siemens finance and compliance teams (CF R, CF T, LC CO, CF F, SCM) to align on future financial process needs.
    • With Sherpa X project teams to ensure solutions are consistent and well-integrated.
    • With partners and contributors in the Sherpa X program.
    • With Siemens IT teams to support standard system solutions.

This is how you'll win us over

  • Education
    • Master’s degree in business studies or economics or alternatively comparable qualification has been reached
  • Experience & Skills
    • Many years of experience in finance, ideally with finance-related tools used at Siemens, and hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4.
    • Proven track record in managing or supporting IT and business transformation projects, seeing them through to success.
    • Strong connections within Service and Governance teams to support Sherpa X topics
    • Solid expertise in SAP SD and related systems for the Order-to-Invoice process (e.g., SAP BTP, SAP DRC, EDI, Vertex, SAP GTS).
    • Familiar with agile methods, experienced in working globally, and comfortable in operational and intercultural settings.
    • Prior involvement in the Sherpa X project as a project manager or PMO, with a clear understanding of its ways of working
    • Ability to explain complex topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences at different levels.
    • Comfortable working with IT topics and open to learning about IT structures is helpful
    • Experience with tax/customs systems or working in a Big 4 environment is welcome
  • Ways of working
    • You have experience in leading a team at least on a technical level. You have experience in working within virtual and global teams and you are a great team player with excellent communication skills
  • Languages: 
    • Business proficieny in English
