Position Overview

The Tactical Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for mobility project-related materials and services, ensuring timely availability, cost optimization, and compliance with company policies. The role requires close coordination with internal customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class sourcing solutions for project execution.

Procurement Execution:

• Handle Purchase Requisitions (PRs) to Purchase Orders (POs) for mobility projects.
• Source goods and services aligned with approved vendor lists (AVL) and project requirements.
• Ensure procurement activities align with organizational policies, contractual terms, and legal guidelines.

Supplier Management

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers in alignment with project needs.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and resolve supply-related issues to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Support supplier qualification, audits, and sustainability requirements.
• Cost & Value Optimization
• Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions to achieve savings and cost avoidance.
• Leverage volume bundling, contracts, and competitive bidding to optimize costs.
• Support total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis for sourcing decisions.

Project Procurement Support

• Collaborate with project managers, engineering, and operations to align sourcing strategies with project timelines.
• Ensure on-time delivery of materials/services to avoid project delays.
• Monitor and track supplier performance (OTD, quality, responsiveness).
• Process Excellence & Compliance Drive process improvements, automation, and digital tools (e.g., One SRM, SAP) for efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to company guidelines, compliance rules, and sustainability targets.
• Support documentation and reporting for audits, indicators, and project reviews.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering / supply chain / business administration or equivalent.
• 3–7 years of experience in procurement/sourcing, preferably in Mobility, Infrastructure, or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of project procurement processes, commercial terms, and vendor management.
• Proficiency in SAP / e-sourcing tools.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment with multiple customers.
• Knowledge of contract management, sustainability, and compliance standards is an advantage.
