Would you like to actively shape sustainability in shipping with creative solutions as part of a team? Then this position is tailor-made for you. In an agile team, we work together to develop sustainable energy and propulsion concepts that we implement worldwide with our customers. From generators and batteries to fuel cells, the solutions are as diverse as they are innovative. Your role extends from system engineering to commissioning on board the Oil Platforms / ship or Chemical Complex.

How You'll Make an Impact

• You deal comprehensively with the automated systems on offshore platforms / Chemical Platforms / Utilities to implement interfaces and complete solutions.
• Hand-on experience with PCS7, WinCC and Step 7, TIA portal.
• Has performed Automation node / HMI programming for at least five Oil & Gas / Marine / relevant    automation projects using the above tools.
• Experience with Nordic SOGO library would be added advantage.
• Experience with Upgrade / Migration of DCS projects is desirable.
• Coordinate with Factory / System house / Vendor for Automation Cabinet Manufacturing, Staging & Testing.
• Travelling to Siemens Energy customer sites for longer durations would be part of this role. (Domestic as well as International)

• You are a graduate in Instrumentation, Electrical or Automation Engineering with consistent track record and relevant experience of 5 to 10 years in Automation Engineering.
• Knowledge of C++, C#, VB Scripting, Database Management would be added advantage.
• Good communication skills, fluency in English. (Written and oral)
• Good Team Player & can communicate with Siemens Energy Global Regional Offices.
