Wireless Communication Architect plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing wireless systems that support modern connectivity needs, including IoT, mobile networks, and enterprise wireless infrastructure. Here's a breakdown of their key roles and responsibilities:


? Core Responsibilities

1. System Design & Architecture

  • Design wireless communication systems including cellular, Wi-Fi, microwave, and satellite technologies [1].
  • Develop architecture standards, specifications, and procedures for wireless systems [2].
  • Integrate IoT devices into wireless networks, ensuring scalability and reliability [3].

2. Technology Planning & Development

  • Perform engineering calculations like path analysis, propagation studies, and inter-modulation analysis [2].
  • Recommend enhancements for system optimization, such as antenna placement and frequency planning [1].
  • Conduct capacity planning and emergency response planning for wireless systems [2].

3. Implementation & Testing

  • Oversee installation, configuration, and testing of wireless infrastructure [1].
  • Validate radio frequency (RF) link performance, quality, and reliability [1].
  • Ensure compliance with FCC licensing and frequency coordination [2].

4. Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare design documents, RFPs, and maintain system documentation [2].
  • Monitor systems for regulatory compliance and operational standards [2].

5. Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, software developers, and network specialists.
  • May lead teams or provide guidance on wireless projects [2].

🛠️ Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in RF engineering, antenna theory, and propagation models [1].
  • Experience with wireless technologies like Wi-Fi, LTE, 5G, Bluetooth, Zigbee, etc.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Perl) and network simulation tools.
  • Knowledge of FCC/FAA regulations and wireless standards.

    • The basis is your Bachelor’s degree in Electronics engineering, energy technology or a comparable qualification, master’s degree candidate will get a preference
  • Experience
    • More than 10 years overall experience out of when 5 years in wireless Technologies  
  • Ways of working
    • You are characterized by your structured, independent and transparent way of working as well as your goal-oriented and appropriate communication 
    • You have strong communication and motivation skills as well as good interpersonal skills 
    • You are willing to travel and open to working with international teams
  • Languages
    • You are fluent in English, knowing German will be added advantage
