This is your role. What part will you play?
As a Project Operations Intern, you will support the Head of Operations in Singapore in supervising the delivery of a diverse infrastructure project portfolio, including Signalling, Electrification, Telecommunication, and Depot Equipment. This internship provides hands-on exposure to project execution, stakeholder collaboration, and operational excellence across Quality, Schedule, and Cost (QSC) dimensions.

  • Assist the Head of Operations and integrate with the Project Management team to gain exposure to leadership activities and operational decision-making.
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand the lifecycle and key phases of infrastructure projects across multiple domains.
  • Support configuration and change management activities in coordination with the Engineering team.
  • Help monitor high-level project schedules, track key milestones, and report on progress using KPIs.
  • Observe and assist in tracking installation and testing activities with subcontractors and Testing & Commissioning (T&C) teams.
  • Learn about project financials including cost tracking, revenue forecasting, and invoicing, working closely with Commercial Project Managers.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by taking ownership of small-scale special projects.
  • Participate in internal communications by helping to prepare the quarterly project portfolio newsletter.

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Postgraduate Diploma, or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or a related field).
  • Strong interest in project management and operations within the rail or infrastructure sector.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated and collaborative, with a willingness to learn and contribute in a multicultural team setting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
