Mode of Employment: Limited, max. 20h/week


As a working student at Siemens, you have the opportunity to actively contribute in various areas and fully apply your skills.


You'll make an impact by

  • You support the incident management team by conducting research on current cybersecurity risks, best practices, and relevant regulatory developments
  • Building on this, you assist in preparing and analyzing data to uncover trends and patterns that inform decision-making within the team
  • You help assess incident readiness across our infrastructure by preparing reports that highlight gaps and recommend improvements
  • Additionally, you contribute to market research on cybersecurity regulation implementation strategies and present your findings clearly to stakeholders
  • Collaborating closely with various departments, you help map business requirements and model processes to strengthen our incident management framework

This is how you'll win us over

  • Education: You are currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Experience and Skills:
    • Foundational knowledge in cybersecurity, cryptography, network protocols, large-scale networks, and cloud environments
    • Experience in statistical data analysis and data preparation
    • Programming skills, especially in Python and/or R, are an advantage
  • Ways of Working: You demonstrate excellent communication skills, collaborate effectively across diverse cultures, and show a self-starter attitude
  • Languages: You are fluent in English and German
