Main Responsibilities 主要职责 

• Leading the Mechanical Engineering team within Engineering department to achieve the 
business objectives.

• Fully understand Siemens medium voltage switchgear products and portfolios and apply 
mechanical engineering knowledge in the products to fulfill customer project requirements.

• Be involved from offering stage technical review, engineering design concept development, to 
contract stage detailed engineering design, material preparation and other deliverables for 
production, to then production stage supporting manufacturing, assembly and factory testing, to 
then dispatch documentation, and finally any after dispatch installation and site changes 
documentation.  
从提供阶段技术审查、工程设计概念开发，到合同阶段详细工程设计、材料准备和其他生产交付 
物，再到支持制造、装配和工厂测试的生产阶段，再到发送文件，最后是任何发货后安装和现场

• Single line design and configuration review and Kuko review to support CoC for offering.

• To verify offering single line diagrams and general arrangement drawings and ensuring the 
engineering feasibility of Siemens solutions.

• Project realization of customer design (KUKO) for projects according to customer specifications 
applying suitable SSLS solutions and select suitable commercially available primary electrical 
components based on their construction details.  Using various engineering tools and drafting 
tools to perform the design and drafting.

• Production engineering inputs delivery including engineering document release, mechanical 
BOM preparation, and other essential engineering details necessary for production to ensure 
successful production of SSLS products.

• Co-ordinating ME project resource and delivery.

• Improve engineering design quality and engineering delivery reliability and design delivery 
efficiency.

• Review technical specifications of various mechanical equipment and components to provide 
relevant department for supplier chain management and component sourcing.

• Fault finding and analysis on relevant SSLS products to support customer services. 
对相关公司产品进行故障查找和分析，以支持客户服务。 
• Improving SSLS product cost position by optimizing engineering design and component 
selection.

• Improving SSLS standard product offering by providing effective feedbacks and solutions to 
R&D and Product Care.

• Assisting managers to improve engineering systems including engineering process, standard 
engineering tools, embracing good engineering practices, also establishing a good working 
culture.

工作文化。 
• People and team development, providing training, mentoring, and managing to other 
mechanical engineers.

• Perform other tasks / responsibilities assigned by the line manager.

Main Requirements 主要职位要求 
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent. 
本科学历，机械工程学士学位或同等学历。 
• With 10 years working experience in Power Distribution business or other manufacturing 
industry is preferred.  
10 年供配电行业或其他制造业的工作经验者优先。 
• Knowledge about power system, incl. power generation, transmission, distribution, etc. 
电力系统的知识，包括发电、输电、配电等。 
• Knowledge of MV product structure (primary) including components and detail application.

• Knowledge of product design variants including its application for selection e.g. standard/option

• Knowledge of 3D design software and technical of drawings creation including data 
management for manufacturing.

• With working experience in digital solution.

• Fluent in both verbal and written English.

• Have strong logical thinking ability and pressure resistance.

• Experience with specific customer project, and proved communication, negotiation skills is 
preferred.
